Bisita Be My Guest Program: Everything To Know

Many of the Philippines’ world-famous travel spots are open again for all tourists who missed the one-of-a-kind sceneries in the country. As the bustling tourism industry is on the rise in the post-pandemic economy, the country hopes to pursue more guests to visit the country in the next 2 years by persuading Filipinos to be our tourism ambassadors through Bisita, Be My Guest Program.

What is Bisita, Be My Guest Program

Bisita, Be My Guest is a tourism program launched by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). This campaign calls for Filipinos, especially Overseas Filipino Workers and Former Filipinos, to be the tourism ambassadors for the Philippines worldwide.

Tourism Secretary Ma. Christina Frasco said in a media interview she hopes for the support of our OFWs and fellow Filipinos all over the world to herald their love for the Philippines by inviting foreign guests to visit our country as tourists. Frasco said this program runs from January 2023 to April 2024.

What is Bisita, Be My Guest Program

Filipinos and the foreign visitors who they invite to visit the country as Bisita Be My Guest Program joiners will be granted a “travel passport” for the destinations in the Philippines, a privilege card they can use around the country, and a raffle ticket that will let them win prizes during the promotion period.

Who is Eligible to Join

Sponsors

The following Filipino individuals are eligible to become Sponsors or the one who invites foreign tourists into the Philippines during the BBMG Program:

  • Overseas Filipino Workers;
  • Filipinos with dual citizenship living in the Philippines or abroad as residents of legal age;
  • Any Filipino citizen in the country of legal age

Invitees

For anyone to be invited by the Sponsor to visit the Philippines as an Invitee, they have to be at any of the following criteria:

  • Anyone holding a foreign (non-Filipino) passport of legal age and has traveled to the Philippines during the period January 01, 2023, to April 30, 2024;
  • Any Filipino holding dual citizenship living abroad for a minimum of six (6) months before the campaign, of legal age, and has traveled to the Philippines during the specified period

Who is Excluded in the BBMG Program

According to the BBMG website, the following individuals are disqualified from joining the Bisita, Be My Guest campaign and raffle:

  • All employees of DOT, its attached agencies, partner agencies, sponsor company, and their relatives up to the third degree of affinity
  • All persons involved in ticketing operations/business

What Can You Get from Bisita, Be My Guest Program

Privilege Card

Sponsors, Invitees, and Tourists may avail of the BBMG Privilege Card to earn discounts, special rates, and incentives from DOT-accredited enterprises all around the Philippines. This card is available in the DOT-identified vacation spots and main gateways in the country.

Travel Passport

All participating Sponsors and Invitees will receive the BBMG Travel Passport for their use while visiting the Philippines. It’s a promotion booklet that tourists of the BBMG program can use to earn stamps from visiting identified tourist attractions or activities in the country. This entitles them to a local souvenir item upon redemption.

Any participating tourist can redeem the BBMG Travel Passport for free at the BBMG Assistance Desks at the identified main gateways in the Philippines. They can avail the travel passport at the twelve (12) identified Philippine destinations and attractions:

  • Ilocos
  • Cebu
  • Davao
  • Palawan
  • Bohol
  • Boracay
  • Baguio
  • Batanes
  • Bicol
  • Camiguin
  • Leyte
  • Siargao

Raffle

Each Sponsor and Invitee are qualified for raffle entries upon completion of registration of the promo mechanics of BBMG Program. Raffle prizes may include a condominium, a car, and various vacation travel packages.

What are the Bisita, Be My Guest Raffle Mechanics

As a Sponsor

As stated on the BBMG website, any interested Sponsors must follow the following procedures to join the raffle draw for BBMG Program:

  1. Visit the official Bisita Be My Guest page and sign up as a Sponsor on the website.
  2. Completely fill out the following fields of information needed during online registration:
    1. First name (as it appears in the ID)
    2. Last name (as it appears in the ID)
    3. Home address
    4. Email address
    5. Contact number
    6. Philippine government-issued ID
  3. The registration process is completed upon submitting the required information.
  4. After the successful registration process, you will receive a unique referral link that Sponsors can copy and send to their prospective Invitees. The Sponsor can send the referral link to as many Invitees as possible.
  5. The Sponsor will also receive a virtual BBMG privilege card that they can use for their travel to the Philippines during the campaign period.
  6. Any invitee who clicks on the Sponsor’s unique referral link will be directed to the Invitees page on the BBMG website containing the Invitee Registration link and the mechanics.
  7. Invitees must first travel to the Philippines during the program’s specified period to complete their raffle registration.
  8. Once Invitee registration is complete, both the Invitee and their Sponsor will receive an email confirmation of their raffle entries to the BBMG promo.
  9. Only entries presented and submitted in the BBMG system database within the specified promo period are valid for the raffle.
  10. All sponsors and invitees should read and understand the privacy policy and agree and abide by the terms and regulations of the BBMG program.

As an Invitee

As stated on the BBMG website, any Invitee invited by a Sponsor must follow the following procedures to join the raffle draw for BBMG Program:

  1. Click on the unique referral link sent by the Sponsor to be directed to the Invitees page of the BBMG website. The link contains the mechanics of the promo and the Invitee Registration link.
  2. Register on the Invitee Registration link by providing the information asked:
    1. First name (as it appears on passport)
    2. Last name (as it appears on passport)
    3. Country of origin
    4. Nationality
    5. Email address
  3. After registration, you will receive an email confirmation of the creation of your account as an Invitee.
  4. You will also receive through email a virtual BBMG Privilege Card you can use once you travel to the Philippines during the promo period of the program.
  5. Invitees must first travel to the Philippines from January 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024, to be qualified for a raffle entry to the BBMG promo.
  6. Once you have completed your travel to the Philippines, you, as an Invitee, can log in to your BBMG account and provide the following information on the website:
    1. Passport number
    2. Date of arrival in the Philippines
    3. Port of embarkation
    4. First visit to the Philippines? (Y / N)
    5. Address (City / Province) or hotel in the Philippines
  7. Upload the following proof of travel to complete your registration as an Invitee in the website:
    1. Boarding Pass
    2. Philippine Immigration stamp (as seen on passport)
    3. Photo and/or social media posting of travel in the Philippines using the hashtags #BisitaBeMyGuest #BBMGuestPH #BBMG
    4. Additional proof of travel may be requested if deemed necessary
  8. Once Invitee registration is complete, both the Invitee and their Sponsor will receive an email confirmation of their raffle entries to the BBMG promo.
  9. Only entries presented and submitted in the BBMG system database within the specified promo period are valid for the raffle.
  10. All sponsors and invitees should read and understand the privacy policy and agree and abide by the terms and regulations of the BBMG program.
  11. Invitees who travel to the Philippines more than once may re-register, indicating the new date of arrival and a new proof of travel.
